Where do I find the furniture and art in the shop?

I have a small storefront and try to keep my inventory and consignment relations as simple and pared down as possible.

The core group:  In addition to sourcing and scouting for pieces for the shop  - I have a group of trusted resources that have a great eye for contributing their interesting, eclectic furniture, art and objects.  Their contributions have made the shop what it is today.   They are Bay Area designers, stylists, former shop owners with a great eye for interesting pieces that are well made.

•Andrea Speer Hibbard's '1,000 Monks' Mat or Framed.  Both versions signed by artist.  UV protected glass on the framed version.

•Christopher Turner's photograph, 'Milky Way over Sea Ranch'.  Limited edition, signed by the artist.  Available in three sizes.

•Francesca Kennedy Jewelry: San Rafael artist who has a background in clothing design.  Her jewelry has many faithful followers.

Do I take things on consignment?  The answer is 'sometimes.'

Send me a photo of the piece or pieces with dimensions and your contact info.   If I'm interested,  I'll let you know!  If I pass,  I'll try to suggest other shops that might consign, sell or donate your item(s).

•I look for side tables, farm tables, hall console tables, bamboo/fois bois  and pieces that might work in SF homes/apartments. Any item must be in tip-top shape. Refined antiques, scale, material and durability are key factors.

•I can't take bulky, heavy or oversized pieces, chandeliers or very fragile pieces.  I don't accept sofas or oversized upholstered furniture.  No exceptions.

•If  a consignment item sells there is a 50-50 split on the final sale.  I establish the retail price. I'll send a check at the beginning of the following month.

• If you are called to pick up the item there is a 45 day window where I can hold the piece until you pick it up. It's the consignors responsibility to manage their inventory once they receive a call for pick up.
